Payment Terms

Activation and Subscription Billing: Website Plan subscriptions begin after the client approves the homepage proof and completes the online signup using the link provided by Alekos Designs™. The applicable one-time activation fee and first monthly subscription payment are due at signup. Monthly subscription payments renew automatically on the same calendar date each month thereafter.

Transaction Fee: A 4% transaction fee applies to all payments.

Payment Method on File: All Website Plans require a valid payment method on file.

Failed Payments: Website Plans include a fourteen (14) day grace period for failed payments. During this period, Alekos Designs™ may attempt to process the payment method on file daily. Services may be paused while a payment remains outstanding. If payment is not successfully collected within fourteen (14) days, the subscription may be canceled. Clients wishing to resume services must complete a new signup through the website and pay any applicable activation fee.

On-Demand Website Design & Support

Active Website Plans include on-demand website revisions, design support, content updates, and scheduled monthly maintenance within the scope of the selected plan. In addition to scheduled monthly maintenance, clients may email Alekos Designs™ with requested website updates, revisions, or design needs that arise between maintenance periods. Standard requests are typically completed within the same business day to seventy-two (72) hours, depending on project complexity, current production volume, and published turnaround times. Larger, more complex, advanced, or high-volume requests may require additional production time, and Alekos Designs™ will communicate an estimated timeline when applicable.

The Landing Page Website Plan is limited to one public website page. Requests for additional standalone pages require an upgrade to a Multiple Page Website Plan, eCommerce Website Plan, or a separate written agreement. Multiple Page and eCommerce Website Plan clients may request additional eligible pages, revisions, design updates, and content changes while their subscriptions remain active.

All requests must be submitted in writing. Clients remain responsible for reviewing and approving website content for spelling, grammar, factual accuracy, pricing, contact information, legal claims, business-specific information, and any other information that requires client verification. On-Demand Website Design & Support is intended to keep the client’s website current, functional, and aligned with their evolving business needs throughout the duration of the active Website Plan.

Proofing, Development, and Launch

A homepage proof and signup link are typically provided within one (1) to three (3) business days after receiving the completed Website Design Request.

After the client approves the homepage proof and signs up for the selected Website Plan, Alekos Designs™ typically provides the initial website development link within two (2) to four (4) business days.

Standard revisions are generally completed within the same business day to three (3) business days. Larger or more complex revisions may require additional time.

After the desktop website is approved, the launch process—including mobile and tablet optimization, accessibility review, domain connection, hosting setup, forms, redirects, SEO setup, and applicable integrations—typically takes one (1) to three (3) business days.

All timelines are estimates and may vary based on project complexity, content availability, requested revisions, third-party access, and client approval times.

SEO and GEO Optimized Copy and Layout

Alekos Designs™ may use professional experience, proprietary workflows, ChatGPT Pro, Wix tools, and other approved technologies to create and optimize website copy, page structure, headings, layouts, metadata, and content recommendations.

Clients are responsible for reviewing all copy and confirming the accuracy of business information, professional claims, legal disclosures, prices, policies, service details, medical or financial information, spelling, grammar, and context before approval.

SEO and GEO optimized copy and layout are designed to improve clarity and search visibility but do not guarantee rankings, indexing, traffic, leads, conversions, AI visibility, or other specific outcomes.

Hosting and Domain

Inclusions: Hosting and domain fees are included in the plans. Domains purchased by the client via a third party will be connected to your website at no additional cost. The client will remain responsible for domain payments to their third-party provider.

Email Limitation: We cannot create business emails for domains purchased outside of Wix.

Monthly SEO and GEO Optimization

Alekos Designs™ provides monthly SEO and GEO optimization through Wix Studio and its available SEO tools. Services may include website monitoring, metadata updates, content and structure improvements, indexing reviews, Search Console monitoring, redirect maintenance, and other reasonable optimization tasks based on the needs of the website.

SEO and GEO services are intended to support search visibility, AI readability, website health, and long-term performance. Alekos Designs™ does not guarantee rankings, indexing, traffic, AI-generated citations, leads, conversions, or placement within any search engine or AI platform.

Platform Limitation

Alekos Designs™ exclusively designs, develops, maintains, and supports websites created in Wix Studio. Website Plans do not include development, redesign, maintenance, or technical support for Wix Classic, WordPress, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow, custom-coded websites, or other third-party platforms.

Ownership of Website

Ownership:
Alekos Designs™ retains full ownership of all website designs, files, frameworks, and associated assets created under this agreement unless otherwise stated in writing.

Cancellation:
If a client cancels their subscription, all services—including hosting, maintenance, and access—will be terminated.

Website Transfer:
Cancellation of a subscription does not guarantee transfer of the website. Any transfer of website files, design, or ownership is solely at the discretion of Alekos Designs™ and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Alekos Designs™ reserves the right to deny transfer requests for any reason, including but not limited to unpaid balances, project scope, or proprietary framework usage.

If Transfer Is Approved:
If Alekos Designs™ chooses to transfer the website:

• The client will be responsible for securing a new hosting plan independently

• Hosting will no longer be provided at Alekos Designs™ discounted rates

• Hosting pricing and plans will be subject to the current offerings of Wix or any other selected provider

• Alekos Designs™ is not responsible for third-party hosting setup, performance, or pricing after transfer

Wix Marketplace & Template Rights: 

Alekos Designs™ reserves the right to use the general design structure, layout concepts, styling, functionality, and other non-client-specific elements of websites created by Alekos Designs™ as the basis for reusable website templates, including templates offered for sale or distribution through the Wix Marketplace or other approved platforms under Alekos Designs™ branding.

Any reusable template created from or inspired by a client website is considered a separate proprietary asset of Alekos Designs™. The client retains ownership of their approved client-specific website content and intellectual property but does not acquire ownership rights to any reusable template created by Alekos Designs™ and is not entitled to royalties, commissions, compensation, or proceeds resulting from the sale, licensing, or distribution of such templates. All revenue and proceeds generated from reusable templates remain solely the property of Alekos Designs™.

Reusable templates will exclude the client's confidential information, personal data, proprietary business information, trademarks, logos, photographs, original written content, and other client-owned intellectual property unless the client provides prior written authorization for its use. Client-supplied intellectual property remains the property of the client or its respective rights holder.

Google Ads Through Wix Studio

Active Website Plan clients may request Google Ads setup and monthly optimization through Wix Studio’s integrated Google Ads tools.

Services may include campaign setup, ad copy creation, available asset setup, keyword review, negative keyword review, and monthly optimization. Advertising budgets are paid directly by the client to Wix and are not included in Website Plan pricing.

Custom ad graphics, advanced video assets, or creative services outside the Website Plan may be billed separately unless included through an active Marketing Plan.

Advanced PPC strategy, conversion tracking implementation, attribution modeling, campaign testing, retargeting, and enterprise-level advertising management are not included.

Alekos Designs™ does not guarantee clicks, impressions, leads, conversions, sales, or other advertising results.

Ownership & Access:

• Wix-managed ads are linked to the client's website account on Wix.

Creative Assets & Copy

• Ad creatives, such as graphics and video, are billed separately via QuickBooks.

• Advertising copy is generated using AI tools, including ChatGPT and Wix AI, and may be edited for tone, clarity, and performance.

Performance & Results

• Alekos Designs™ does not guarantee specific performance metrics or results. Advertising outcomes may vary based on industry, audience, budget, and other market factors.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Google Ads management services are discontinued immediately upon cancellation of the client’s active plan.

No refunds are offered for ad spend, as all advertising costs are paid directly to the provider.

eCommerce Features

Online payments, booking systems, online stores, subscriptions, event systems, and similar business applications are available only with an eligible eCommerce Website Plan.

The client is responsible for supplying and approving all products, services, prices, descriptions, policies, inventory details, booking rules, tax information, shipping information, refund policies, and legally required business disclosures.

Payment processors, booking services, Wix applications, shipping providers, and other third-party services may charge transaction, subscription, processing, or service fees. These fees are paid directly by the client and are not included in Website Plan pricing.

Alekos Designs™ is not responsible for payment processor decisions, account holds, chargebacks, tax obligations, shipping disputes, inventory errors, or third-party platform interruptions.

HIPAA-Compliant Website Configurations

eCommerce Website Plans may include HIPAA-compliant website configuration when the website is assigned an eligible Wix Studio plan that supports HIPAA compliance. Alekos Designs™ will configure the website using the HIPAA compliance tools provided by Wix Studio, including activating Protected Health Information (PHI) protection, reviewing applicable Wix apps and website functionality for compatibility, and configuring supported website features in accordance with Wix's available HIPAA tools and requirements.

As part of the HIPAA activation process, the client is required to review and sign the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) provided directly by Wix and complete any account-owner actions that Wix requires. Alekos Designs™ will assist the client throughout the setup process and configure the Wix Studio website using the HIPAA-compliant functionality available through the platform.

Activating PHI protection may restrict, disable, or require the removal of certain Wix features, applications, communication channels, or third-party integrations that are not compatible with HIPAA requirements. Third-party applications or services requested by the client must independently meet applicable HIPAA requirements before being connected to a website that handles Protected Health Information.

Alekos Designs™ provides HIPAA-compliant website configuration through the tools and infrastructure made available by Wix Studio but does not provide legal or healthcare compliance services and cannot guarantee that the client's internal business practices, employees, external systems, third-party applications, or handling of Protected Health Information outside of the Wix Studio website comply with HIPAA. Clients remain responsible for operating their business and handling Protected Health Information in accordance with applicable HIPAA requirements.

Website Accessibility

Alekos Designs™ manages website accessibility as part of both the initial website launch process and ongoing Website Plan maintenance. We use the Wix Studio Accessibility Wizard, Accessibility Monitor, and applicable Wix accessibility recommendations to regularly identify and address supported accessibility issues, including alt text, heading structure, color contrast, navigation, site structure, and other accessibility settings.

The Wix Studio Accessibility Wizard bases its accessibility tasks on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), with Level AA currently required for applicable Accessibility Wizard checks. Alekos Designs™ uses these Wix Studio tools and standards as the basis for the accessibility work included with active Website Plans.

Because automated accessibility tools cannot detect or resolve every accessibility issue, and certain Wix Studio features, third-party applications, integrations, custom functionality, and other website elements may require manual review or fall outside the Accessibility Wizard's supported scanning capabilities, Alekos Designs™ does not guarantee complete compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), WCAG, or any other accessibility law, regulation, or standard. Formal accessibility certification, legal compliance reviews, or accessibility services beyond the capabilities and standards supported by Wix Studio are not included with Website Plans.

If a client chooses to reject, override, or decline an accessibility recommendation identified by Alekos Designs™ or Wix Studio, including recommendations related to color contrast, branding colors, text visibility, or other accessibility settings, the client accepts responsibility for that decision and any resulting accessibility limitations, complaints, remediation costs, claims, or other issues that may arise. Alekos Designs™ strongly recommends following all supported accessibility recommendations and assumes no responsibility for accessibility issues resulting from client-requested exceptions or overrides.

Google Search Console & Google Business Profile

Google Search Console: Alekos Designs™ connects and manages Google Search Console through our agency account as part of the Website Plan. This allows Alekos Designs™ to monitor website indexing, search performance, technical issues, and other available search data used to support ongoing SEO and website maintenance. Clients who would like direct access to their Google Search Console property may request access at any time, and Alekos Designs™ will provide the appropriate access.

Google Business Profile: Google Business Profile setup or connection is completed as part of the website launch process for eligible businesses. After the website is launched, Alekos Designs™ will send the client a website launch email that includes a scheduling link to arrange a setup meeting. During the meeting, Alekos Designs™ will guide the client through the Google Business Profile setup or connection process via Zoom. The client must complete applicable portions of the setup and verification process from their own account and location because Google may require location-based verification, business information, account authentication, or other verification methods that Alekos Designs™ cannot complete on the client's behalf.

Google controls Google Business Profile eligibility, verification methods, approval, reinstatement, indexing, search visibility, and other platform requirements. Alekos Designs™ will provide setup assistance but cannot guarantee approval, verification, rankings, visibility, or placement within Google Search or Google Maps.

Third-Party Features and Platform Changes

Website Plans rely on Wix Studio, Google, payment processors, applications, integrations, domain providers, and other third-party services.

Third-party providers may modify, remove, restrict, discontinue, or charge for features at any time. Alekos Designs™ is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, account restrictions, pricing changes, removed functionality, or service interruptions.

When practical, Alekos Designs™ may recommend a comparable alternative, plan upgrade, or revised implementation.

Email Marketing

All Alekos Designs™ Website Plans include access to Wix’s free Email Marketing Plan, which currently allows up to 200 email sends per month. Clients may use this allowance to create and send email campaigns directly through Wix. If additional sending capacity or advanced email marketing features are needed, the client may upgrade their Wix Email Marketing Plan at their discretion. Any applicable upgrade fees are paid directly by the client to Wix.

Email Campaign Design & Scheduling

Multiple Page Website Plans and eCommerce Website Plans include email campaign design and scheduling support. Alekos Designs™ may design and schedule email campaigns through Wix or through another email marketing platform selected by the client, provided the platform includes an editor and access that allows Alekos Designs™ to complete the requested work. Clients are responsible for all Wix Email Marketing upgrades and any third-party platform subscriptions, fees, or additional costs. Email campaign design and scheduling are not included with the Landing Page Website Plan.

Blog Management

Multiple Page Website Plans and eCommerce Website Plans include Blog Management with three (3) SEO and GEO optimized blog entries created and published by Alekos Designs™ each month as part of the client's scheduled monthly website maintenance. Blog Management is not included with the Landing Page Website Plan. Alekos Designs™ may use professional research, ChatGPT Pro, Wix tools, client-provided information, and other approved resources to create and optimize the three monthly blog entries. Clients who would like additional blog entries published beyond the three (3) included monthly entries may provide the completed blog content and any applicable images to Alekos Designs™, and we will upload and publish the provided content as part of the website maintenance service. Blog Management is an included benefit and is optional; clients are not required to maintain a blog. If a client chooses not to include or maintain a blog on their website, the Website Plan pricing, billing, and other included services remain unchanged. Unused monthly blog entries have no cash value and do not result in credits, refunds, substitutions, or reductions in the monthly Website Plan fee.

FAQ Management

Multiple Page Website Plans and eCommerce Website Plans include FAQ Management with three (3) SEO and GEO optimized FAQ entries created and published by Alekos Designs™ each month as part of the client's scheduled monthly website maintenance. FAQ Management is not included with the Landing Page Website Plan. Alekos Designs™ may use professional research, ChatGPT Pro, Wix tools, client-provided information, and other approved resources to create and optimize the monthly FAQ entries based on the client's business, services, products, target audience, and relevant search intent. Clients may also provide additional FAQ content at any time for Alekos Designs™ to add to the website as part of the website maintenance service. FAQ Management is an included benefit and is optional; if a client chooses not to use the included monthly FAQ entries, the Website Plan pricing, billing, and other included services remain unchanged. Unused monthly FAQ entries have no cash value and do not result in credits, refunds, substitutions, or reductions in the monthly Website Plan fee.

Billing: Add-ons are billed separately from the client’s Website Plan and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the applicable Refund Policy.

Free Website Audits

Alekos Designs™ may offer complimentary website audits as a lead-generation and educational service. Website audits are generated using a combination of professional experience, proprietary workflows, ChatGPT Pro, and publicly available best practices and guidance from sources such as Google Search Central. Audit recommendations may include observations related to website design, user experience, SEO, AI visibility, content structure, accessibility, performance, conversion opportunities, search appearance, and other website-related factors. Free website audits are typically delivered via email within one (1) to two (2) business days, although more complex websites may require additional review time. There is no obligation to purchase a Website Plan, Marketing Plan, or any other service from Alekos Designs™ after receiving a free website audit. Website audits are provided for informational and educational purposes only and do not guarantee rankings, indexing, traffic, conversions, leads, sales, AI visibility, search appearance, or any other specific outcome. Recommendations are based on the information available at the time of the audit and should not be considered legal, financial, technical, or professional consulting advice. By requesting a free website audit, the client acknowledges that the audit is intended as an educational review and not as a guarantee of future website performance.

Website Plan Coverage

Each Website Plan applies to one business, one brand, one Wix Studio website, and one primary domain unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Additional businesses, brands, websites, domains, franchise locations, or unrelated entities require separate Website Plans or additional fees.

Alekos Designs™ reserves the right to determine whether a request falls within the scope of the active Website Plan.

Hosting, Domain, and Wix Studio Limits

Each Website Plan includes the applicable Wix Studio hosting plan listed in the current plan description and one eligible primary domain purchased or managed through Wix.

Clients using a domain purchased through another provider remain responsible for all registration, renewal, privacy, DNS, and third-party domain costs associated with that provider.

Storage, collaborator, form, CMS, bandwidth, email, app, and other platform limits are determined by the assigned Wix Studio plan. Wix may change its plans, limits, pricing, or features at any time.

Cancellations

Effect of Cancellation: Clients may cancel their Website Plan at any time. Cancellation prevents the subscription from renewing for another billing period, and Website Plan services will remain active through the end of the client's current paid billing period. After the paid billing period ends, hosting, maintenance, design support, and other Website Plan services will terminate unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Refunds are generally not provided for partially used billing periods. Please refer to our Refund Policy for additional information.

Renewals: Renewals are automatic unless the client wishes to cancel. Cancellation requests must be received before the next billing cycle to avoid charges.

Data and Security

Client information may be stored and processed through Wix, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and other approved service providers required to deliver Website Plan services.

Alekos Designs™ uses commercially reasonable security practices and antivirus protection. Client information is not sold and is shared only when reasonably necessary to provide services, process payments, manage website accounts, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

Liability

No Warranty: Alekos Designs™ makes no warranties regarding the performance or operation of the design services.

Limitation of Liability: Alekos Designs™ is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the design services.

Changes to Terms

Alekos Designs™ reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
